Countermeasures Assessment & Security Experts, LLC DBS CASE™ LLC is proud to announce that HTRAM™has earned the distinction of receiving Designation as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Both users and vendors of HTRAM™benefit from the protections provided by SAFETY Act Designation, knowing that HTRAM™ meets the U.S. Government’s most demanding standards as a HAZMAT decision support system. Through this certification, HTRAM™ has been demonstrated to be an extremely effective solution in providing critical guidance and analytical tools for HAZMAT threat scenarios. Since Congress passed the SAFETY Act in 2002, to-date, less than 100 companies/technologies have received Certification/Designation as qualified anti-terrorism technologies, and HTRAM™ is the only system of its kind to earn this designation.
HTRAM™ is a comprehensive HAZMAT decision support system that integrates response and route information for Toxic Inhalant Hazards (TIHs agents) as well as other regulated Rail Security Sensitive Materials (RSSM). The integrated HTRAM™ response software includes critical response information, government approved routing factors, and the ability for an organization to extend the system with their own forms, SOPs or checklists. Whether planning, responding or training, it all starts with identifying and recognizing the threats.
As part of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, Public Law 107-296, Congress enacted the SAFETY Act. The aim of the Act is to encourage the development and deployment of anti-terrorism technologies that will substantially enhance the protection of the nation. The SAFETY Act “Designation” and “Certification” are designed to support effective technologies aimed at preventing, detecting, identifying, or deterring acts of terrorism, or limiting the harm that such acts might otherwise cause, and which also meet other prescribed criteria. “As part of the SAFETY Act Certification/Designation process, DHS has performed a comprehensive evaluation of HTRAM™and CASE™ is proud that our innovation and commitment to excellence has been recognized.
